...to Coyote Inventors! We're working to achieve our new goals during the 2009-2010 school year. In June, our Clarksburg High School Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam traveled to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for EurekaFest 2009, a celebration of the inventive spirit meant to recognize outstanding inventors, at all stages in their respective careers, for their hard work and dedication. At EurekaFest, our students presented their TorchCord(TM) invention to a large audience consisting of members of the MIT community, winners of awards from the Lemelson-MIT Foundation, fellow InvenTeams, and other distinguished guests. This year, this same group plans to come together again and make the transition from an InvenTeam to a business venture. Additionally, we extend a warm welcome to many new members of Coyote Inventors, and celebrate our plans to support the development of numerous student-created inventions. We'd like to thank you, members of our community, for your continued support of our organization.
