Current Inventions

In addition to the pressure-sensitive illuminated computer cable being developed by the Clarksburg High School InvenTeam, other members of the Inventors Club are working to develop their own inventions and secure intellectual property protection. Some of these inventions are described below.

Chewing Gum Wrapper

A member of the Coyote Inventors Club has invented a new chewing gum wrapper.  She is in the process of drafting a project plan and building an invention team.  She anticipates completing research and seeking intellectual property protection by the end of 2009.

Portable Coffee Maker

A group of Coyote Inventors Club members are working on a unique portable coffee maker designed to help commuters and “people on the go” enjoy a fresh cup of coffee with a new streamlined coffee brewing product.  Currently, a second generation prototype is being designed.

Interior Window Application

A member of the Coyote Inventors Club has developed a new interior window application for residential housing.  A business plan is currently being written for project development and to secure funding.

Motivating Alarm Clock

A new member of the Coyote Inventors Club is developing a new alarm clock with a particularly motivating “snooze” device.  A preliminary description has been recorded and an initial project plan is currently being drafted.

Shelf Liner Product

A member of the Coyote Inventors Club is investigating a new shelf liner product.  An initial patent search is being conducted.  This project is a “first” for the Club because this idea was developed as a result of the Clarksburg High School InvenTeam’s Torch-CordTM device.
